I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMCHA, License #MC61583603). I am supervised by Anthony Rella.
I started working in this field during my undergraduate studies, earning a BA in Art History followed by an MA in Mental Health Counseling.
Prior to graduate school, my career in education allowed me to work with children and families in various settings. In my professional career, I continued working in behavioral health. I also worked at an outpatient program in community mental health focused on at-risk youth and families. My role centered on providing both resources and appropriate interventions.
As a counselor, I am warm, engaged and supportive; my goal is to walk beside you as you discover the next steps on your journey.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I run Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, knit fluffy sweaters, and love to play video games. On the weekends, you can find me marathoning Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.
We acknowledge the sacred land on which we practice, remembering this land has been stolen from Indigenous peoples who are still here today. In this acknowledgement, I name my own positionality as a white settler on unceded territory and the ongoing hurt of colonization.
We acknowledge that the Southern Salish Sea region lies on the unceded and ancestral land of the Coast Salish peoples, the Duwamish, Muckleshoot, Puyallup, Skykomish, Snoqualmie, Snohomish, Suquamish and Tulalip tribes and other tribes of the Puget Sound Salish people. We see you, respect your right to sovereignty and self-determination, and are committed to being better listeners, learners, and in lifting indigenous voices.
